Food Allergies
Some people are free to eat anything they want. Others must eat only certain food due to the food allergies. Nowadays many types of food allergies (such as dairy, nuts or shellfish reactions) are known.
Not all the food allergies exist lifelong. Some children will release from the allergy they used to have when they grow up. Others can develop food allergies only being adults.
Although people can be allergic to almost any food there are only 8 products that are responsible for about 90% of all food allergies. Among them are milk, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, seafood, wheat and soy.
Usually there are warnings on the food products that notify you that nuts are contained. Some food even has indications which state that the product was prepared in a place where it may have come into contact with nuts. So many precautions are taken because nut allergies are widely spread. Some people have allergy to cashews or walnuts, others – to peanuts. It’s not a rear case that people are allergic to both of them.
Seafood allergies are widely spread as well. Usually it is more specific for adults but children can also experience it. People who suffer seafood allergies can be allergic only to fish or to diverse types of seafood such as shrimp, oysters, and crabs.
